The Power of Solitude

This short essay by Elaine Smookler discusses the benefits of solitude.  When is the last time you were alone in nature?  On the beach, in a forest, under a tree, by a pond? Solitude is surprisingly healthy. Put all the gadgets away and take a walk to a quiet place you enjoy visiting.  Stop along the way, and just SIT for a while. Be there; be present.  TRY IT!
