Do the RIGHT THING!

Now, more than ever before, people around the world are being called upon to "do the right thing." According to C.S. Lewis, "Integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching." Being kind is just a humble beginning, but we must accomplish so much more during these times of radical change and growth, especially right here in the United States. When making heart-centered decisions, the choices are clear. Simply "do the right thing!" We must work together to secure equity in education, housing, healthcare, and all other areas of life. Empathy and compassion are real skills which may be developed over time. Let's embrace change with a set of new skills. Two books worth the time are: The Compassion Instinct by Dacher Keltner, and Are We Born Racist? New Insights from Neuroscience and Positive Pyschology by Jason Marsh, Rodolfo Mendoza-Denton, and Jeremy Adam Smith.
